I was scared to go inside because I thought it was something completely different but instead it looks really nice (compared to the Lancaster campus) it small-ish and the people were nice(I mean the librarian) and yeah it was really nice and I was very surprised. OH PLUS it's easy to find your classes (since it's 2x smaller than Lancaster) and not much walking

Extra star for the really sweet black girl with blonde braids that helped me last week. Even though the financial aid office at AVC Palmdale is essentially useless, she was kind and tried her best. Very professional...but whichever young man in Financial Aid and older woman in Student Services who answered the phone on August 26th between 7:50am and 8:30am had zero phone etiquette and were extremely apathetic as well as patronizing. Never got ahold of who I needed. Just as incompetent if not more so than the Lancaster Campus staff and this is coming from someone who runs a school office full time. They need to put people in these jobs who actually care and know something that can help someone.

This is one of the most innovative and spacious centers in all of the state’s community colleges. All of AVC services and hundreds of classes are offered at this site.

I love this campus, but we need more better professors. Totally remember when campus was vibrate around 2018-2019, before the pandemic, because of the bookstore midterm study jams and other events. Miss those days.

Although this place may feel new and such, besides the bathrooms and water fountains being state-of-the-art and amazing, the single most biggest issue that bugs me is the noise control here. Everywhere you go, there ALWAYS has to be some sort of noise bothering you as you work. Why do the cleaning crew have to even operate in the MIDDLE OF THE DAY where there are other students trying to concentrate and study? I was left very very irritated from those actions. Another major thing that bugs me are the doors, many of them either make a loud squeak or have issues with slamming so hard that it has to interupt even some faculty members from the other side! So all in all, its the overall acoustics of the entire building that seems to have been underlooked/neglected upon construction of this facility. Even more shocking is that construction was STILL going on even during the first 12 weeks of the Fall semester of 2017. So therefore, I had to deal with much of the noises that went on while I had classes there.
So to conclude this, very stunning views of the campus's aesthetics, but flawed acoustics!

Everything was new with security guard. There was great parking with some trees and a couple of surrounding businesses like tax preparer. There was a Taco shop with Mexican food and like a Cuban bakery sounded like it might sell food too. Not sure.

New Student, faculty look nice, but issues came up & redo/refunding HAD me confused do things right the 1st time is what I was hoping for, plus comments on professors = 33% graduates percentage Rethinking already ?
