I was here for my PG in GPB. It was my First experience studying in another state. And it was the most beautiful experience. The campus has cult classic vibes. The campus is so big and green that you will love it each single day u will spend here. In Monsoon, campus will be like heaven. People are very supportive here. It is the best University in Central India for agriculture.

The only best thing in Parbhani is this University. One of the good agriculture University in Maharashtra. Many college courses like bsc. Agri, horti, b.v.s.c and animal husbandry, b.tec,m.Tec, food technology and many are available here.
The University Campus is so affectionate. People come here for morning walk. There are many government buildings and Temples here. Mostly visited at morning Time. Very nice environment. Students come here for their education. Research stations are available here for students.

Good university considering the space.... Situated almost 2.5 kms from parbhani junction railway station...

The campus is huge and greeny... The place however lacks good basic shops and we have to travel almost a kilometer for having food or meals.. As these many students are studyng for agriculture and horticulture they should have added more shops for food, stationary and other basic things..

The college needs some maintanance as it is an old university... The behaviour of the staff is very nice and its a plus point... The hospitality they provide for other state people and students is also notable...

Old but very nice constructed buildings... clean & well maintained...All basic facilities available for students.. high class laboratories..All the teaching & non teaching staff is very friendly & polite..One of the best universities in marathwada to ourse agriculture related courses to pursue. The university has diverse range of agricultural p courses with research centers also. The campus is located in the central part of the city and is spacious. The university also conducts various other course of applied and processing of the agro products

Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), formerly Marathwada Agricultural University (MAU), is an agricultural university at Parbhani in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was established on 18 May 1972, sitting on land donated by the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad-Mir Osman Ali Khan .[1] The objectives of the university are education in agriculture and allied sciences, research based on regional needs and facilitate technology transfer, etc. It is the only agricultural university in India where all the branches of Agricultural Sciences are taught. It is named after former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vasantrao Naik. History

The foundation of agricultural research in Parbhani was laid by the erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad with the commencement of the Main Experimental Farm in 1918. Though during Nizam's rule agricultural education was available only at Hyderabad but crop research centers for sorghum, cotton, fruits existed in the region. After independence, the first college of Agriculture was established in Parbhani in 1956 by Hyderabad State government just before State reorganization. Lastly on 18 May 1972, university was established.[1]

As of 2014, the university has 12 constituent colleges and 32 affiliated colleges, with a total intake of 4175 students. constituent colleges have undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses, while affiliated colleges have only undergraduate studied. The university also has 9 constituent agriculture schools and 53 affiliated ones, with a total intake of 3270 students.
