UCF has been having a very hard time accommodating the larger quantities of CECS students recently. Though they continually expand, they simply cannot keep up with the influx of engineering and CS students. The results are unreasonably large classes, computerized exams in the EPC and little to no communication with the professor, faculty or TAs. Without any feedback, students are unable to improve themselves. With a larger class any mediocre student can seem to ride the curve and, as long as they are better than the lowest 25% of students, and pass just about any class with minimal effort. They will rotate in new adjuncts with no experience and give them a class of 275 students without any oversight. If UCF wishes to continue boasting itself as one of the best engineering schools in the country, it needs to find the resources, the faculty and the structure to make that happen.
