University Law College is undoubtedly the oldest seat of legal learning in the country. Other than training young legal minds, the college focuses on personality development and grooming of students into responsible citizens.
Law College was established in 1868, fourteen years before the University of the Punjab and has a rich history and culture. It later became one of the constituent Colleges of the University of the Punjab.

Punjab University reportedly rusticated a Baloch student in her final year of LLB, and kept it a secret to prevent her from sitting her exams. This was done as a retaliation for her being part of a protest seeking release of fellow students. This retaliation is pathetic and criminal. Protest is a right protected by the Constitution of Pakistan, and for a university, or a law school, to do that, shows that the people in charge either do not know the law, or feel they are above it. Shame on the University of Punjab, it's Vice Chancellor and it's officials connected with the matter.
