Would tread carefully. Coming from 🇦🇺 we enrolled 2 of our kids in and had a really negative experience.

One of our children were inappropriately touched in the playground by an older kid and the teacher was not particularly concerned stating it was a miscommunication via email

There was no escalation process other than our child coming home and telling us what happened and us having to follow up a few days after even though the teacher on duty was told.

We spent 28k in AUD when we asked for a refund and got sent the terms and conditions that we took them out and therefore were not eligible for a refund WE WERE THERE FOR 3 WEEKS!. So even based on a Health and Safety concern we were not refunded $1. Steer clear of this place.

We moved to rome in 2017 when my daughter was just 3.5 year-old. I did my research on all the international schools in northern rome, visited 4 of them after shortlisting. In the end we went for this one and never regret it.

Despite its compact campus and team, the school has a unique spirit, which creates a family-like atomsphere. all the staff, students and parents are so close to each other. As an expat family, we made so many really good friends from all over the world. Today we still frequently meet these friends in different places/countries, even after leaving rome years before.

All the teachers and non-teaching staff treat the pupils like their own children. Many have been working here for decades, and their children also go to this school. Pupils call the teachers by their names, which i think it's completely open-minded.

My daughter enjoyed being at NRS so much. She has her best friends here. She loves the teachers, the sand pitch, the swing, the monkey bars, the snacks at the lunch area, the gold fish pond, etc... literally everything. We left rome for London when she was 9, almost crying. To be honest, i'm very jealous of her for being able to spend her childhood at a school like NRS.

Now she goes to the "real" british school, which is a prestigious one , but she says it's nowhere close to NSR. Apparently NSR will always be the sacred temple in her heart.

Situated on the leafy, residential north side of the city, The New School is just 15 minutes from Piazza del Popolo and the historic centre of Rome.

The school buildings are set in a beautiful garden with fruit trees and the large villa, which was once a family home, has retained its warm and friendly atmosphere. All of the classrooms have Wi-fi internet access and most are equipped with Interactive Whiteboards.

There are 2 libraries, 3 well-equipped laboratories, football and volleyball pitches, a Drama studio and an Art studio. The Physical Education part of the curriculum also makes use of the extensive facilities and qualified coaches available in a local sports club. Transport is available within the city limits.
