I have called the “support” line asking for help re-registering for classes. They stated I have to reapply, however, after reapplying the issue seems to continue: I cannot register for classes. I have spoken to three different persons, and every single one of them have a different version of what the problem is. In addition, with a horrible attitude and condescending tone. Today, for the second time they simply hang up on me out of frustration for not being able to fix the problem. Very mediocre on call student services for a college of this caliper. The phone call today took place at 8:32 AM. Hopefully you can get a hold of this person that simply hangs up the phone on students trying to register for classes. Customer service should be the last feature in her curriculum Vitae. Extremely rude, lacking resources and alternatives, and zero trouble shooting skills.

Associate's degree in nursing from SSC. Depending on how well the instructors like you, you'll do ok. If you don't have the right "look"... maybe this isn't the place for you. When I complained of gender discrimination by a preceptor, the then dean said "do you even know how offensive that is." But at the time the power dynamic was clear (dean also stated that the office to which you appeal any disciplinary decision was a former nurse, as a way to discourage appeals). I just wish I had more time and resources to appeal in a way they would react to (litigation). Welp... good luck, student! The general education instructors are pretty amazing, tbh. Microbiology, Anatomy and physiology, all math courses had instructors that genuinely liked being teachers and they brought their A game to get you to where you want to go. But as with the other reviews you'll see here, the administration is... lacking. Custodians, physical plant mechanics, librarians, disability support, and career services workers were rock stars!

2 hour wait to solve a 1 minute problem. Employees mindlessly chit chatting, fooling around, wasting time, disrespecting the patience of the students.

Teachers are fine but what’s the point of an advising staff that outright says “yeah sorry I dont know (even about the degrees on the website), just apply :),” and tries to talk about her granddaughters more than anything else. Not to mention how often they mess up your paperwork. They tried to blame my high school and then got visibly and audibly upset when the school came back with proof they messed up.

Trying to enroll is a mission. I started EARLY, got everything i needed done on my end. Classes start Monday and the Financial aid office still hasn’t completed my information. I’m now expected to pay out of pocket even though i have a grant that says “accepted” but the reps on the phone state it doesn’t matter. The EServices dept when you call sounds like a bunch of younger adults who work from home and don’t have much information or solutions to your issues or concerns. I had a lady whose younger children were crying in the back and she was giving me condescending responses to my questions. The attitude these reps give you is so unprofessional. I was done with everything i needed in June! We’re in August and I’m footing the bill because they can’t complete things in time. I cannot even imagine how the classes are going to be.

Every class I have ever taken has been great and all professors have been extremely helpful. My only complaint is the front desk, I know that when I call I will be on hold for at least 10-30 mins before anyone ever answers the phones. I work everyday and can't waste 30 mins of my day for a 10 min conversation or for them to transfer me to another place and wait another 30 mins to gain help. The call back option is not true I have used that 4-5 times and never gotten a call back. The teachers are helpful and full of great information and I have learned a lot about the subjects that I have taken in the last couple years. I also want to say that the staff is great once someone picks up the phone but 10-30 mins every time I call is is ridiculous!
