Cool place, lots of services to aid such as the advocacy center, mental health resources, advisors, cafeterias, school store, clubs, a small gym, and so much more. Ive got a few semesters still, but I really like the memories I make with my friends here. Walking around and seeing the nature and squirrels is calming. I have a fear of squirrels but they haven't harmed me yet lol. They're cute. Only downsides are the aces website sometimes doesn't work, it also no longer let's me schedule appointments with my advisor on the AlamoNavigate, saying there's no available appointments any time for even months later. So talking with my advisor can be a little tricky. As well as the prices can be expensive in the store.. but other than that, I recommend coming here. Real great place to go to school at with friends and even make friends. Below are some attached photos of some art pieces in the art building and nature pictures from campus. Shout out to the volunteers from eco centro, helping plant stuff and help the place look beautiful! As well as those who help the cats on campus. I love occasionally finding a cat by the advocacy and petting them. Fun, cool, helpful place!

I had a phenomenal experience at SAC. As an international student, the community college was truly an enriching experience. I expected a lot less since community colleges have a stigma but OH MY SOUL!! I would recommend this college to anyone.

I started during the covid times and had online classes in 2021. Although everything was on Zoom, I could tell that the professors took pride and put a lot of effort into their work. As soon as we went back to campus fall of 2022, I was highly involved on campus. I was a Mentor and the captain of the speech and debate team.

I loved some if not all my professors. There are some professors that are tough and have a rigorous curriculum however it’s college and you actually learn. I received multiple scholarships and made it on the President‘s list every semester.

I graduated SAC May 2023 and I transferred to UIW and got a scholarship for just attending an Alamo College! Love that for me and thanks to SAC for that!

Overall College is what you make of it and I HIGHLY recommend SAC.

Good luck trying to transfer as a transient student. It is SUCH a difficult process trying to communicate with the staff. Got told by three different ppl to go to another office and got so much misinformation only to be sat down for 10 minutes in their “welcome center” while some guy who didn’t even greet me was researching my status as if i wasnt enrolled already. All that to say I definitely did not end up going here after such a hard time with every desk person. And yeah no one ever answers the phones

After many phone calls and emails to two different schools, I was finally enrolled without being told anything. The school is bad with communication and GL in trying to speak to someone other than an operator. People seem lost and can't point you in the right direction unless it's their office and they are happy to give you the run-around. This is a huge red flag so I will not be attending any classes in the San Antonio College district.

Everyone on staff are always super nice and very helpful when I go on campus. Even over the phone they are patient and understanding of any concerns I have getting classes registered etc. I am a current student here and I love my college choice. Go Armadillos!

Alamo colleges are usually trying to push students to grow up quicker after high school that where they bring success. Students sometimes might not see how rich they are what makes everything so outgoing. Many of students applicants are gonna feed into the US military lack of funds necessity to grow up quicker. Reality not all that bad.

Fun fact SAC is older than UTSA, SAC had so many students go from the inner city advance themselves by networking. UTSA mainly a recreation for Houston students.

If you enroll here, be prepared to have your graduation on a Weds at 1030am. Your family can stream later anyway, right. As an Alamo College alumnus I am disappointed I cannot go to my sister in laws graduation ceremony.

SAC Still post Mask Optional. Campus is quiet with several study spots on the campus. Bookstore professionally run. Great experience.
