We stopped by to have a look at the striking painting and tapestry and what seemed like an elegant library on the other side of the glass walls. The security guard approached us to say we are not allowed to be there as it's private property. It felt very unpleasant and we were not doing anything wrong, not even taking pictures. We were literally standing outside the building in a public area with more office blocks surrounding this building. I think if you don't want people to look at it don't showcase the inside through transparent walls in a public pathway!

Sometimes I come here to stare at the tapestry and the painting through the glass and to meet my hubby after work. Security guys are always very polite and professional - real gentlemen.

We went by as we were strolling through the area! You can see a part of St. Stephen Wallbrook church if you walk up the steps. There was a security guard who was not scary but did seem to watch us. Don’t make a special tourist trip to this building

A most helpful security guard came out, unprovoked, to inform us in a mildly incoherent but prideful sneer that pictures weren't allowed (none were being taken), and added to that the fact that he was not allowed to disclose the name of the institution he worked for or identify the buildings around us. He then reheated back in a huff and a puff as we pondered upon what we were just accosted by.

If he was hired for the sole purpose of making this institution seem sinister and garner ire from the passers-by on the street minding their own business, he's doing an excellent job of it. I guess even security sitting all day in an empty lobby must find some way of preening feathers once in a while.

Cannot recommend unless feeling in the mood for getting harassed, in which case, waltz around and stand by.

I stopped to take a photo of their hanging sign one day, and their security guys pounced on me asking what I was doing. "I'd just like to take a photo of the pretty sign, is that not OK?" "You need to be careful, it's a bit suspicious people having a camera in this day and age." (I was using the camera on my phone) .oO(Really?) I thought... no paranoia here... just about every single person walking past on the street has a smartphone in their pocket with a camera on it!!! He wanted to see my photos to make sure of what I'd taken.
I agree with what others have said here, their security guys ARE creepy. They're not the police, and they DON'T own the street - but they act like they do. If they're that worried about security, why don't they have their office set back in a large property rather than in and over one of the busiest walkways in the city!
Don't believe what people tell you about Illuminati lizards and alien reptilian people... It's all a smokescreen to confuse you and hide the truth which you could find much more scary!
Their building is interesting. I don't like what they do with their money.

I was taking photos of the facade and the security came and said i can´t take photos of the building because they don't like it.

Apparently they can forbidden people from taking photos even if we are at a public street.

I felt bullied by this bank...they are so powerful that they can forbidden people from something so normal.

The usual type of security guard comes out (we all know what we're talking about here, right!) so rude and proud that it has a slight bit of power for 10 seconds telling us that we cannot be told what the building is. So I looked on Google for like 5 seconds and found the answer.
