Good enough paying out but charge you a fortune all the life of your pet yet when it gets older they start increasing owners contribution. I pay nearly £1200 a year and I still have to pay 20% of vet bill and £114 excess.

We’ve been with Petplan for years with both our dogs. Admittedly the monthly cost is more than other insurers but believe me it’s worth it. One of our dogs has been through the mill and I simply can’t fault petplans service. I wouldn’t choose anyone else.

I've used a few pet insurance companies in the past, but Petplan is the best. Thank you for being there for my little mini rex rabbit, Teddy. He is almost 9 years old, and your easy to process insurance claims mean that I am able to keep up with his vet bills more easily as he ages and needs more care.

Our cat Moggs became seriously anemic and needed urgent treatment and a five day stay in hospital being insured with Petplan made us able to pay for the treatment he needed. We don’t know how we could have afforded the treatment to make him better if it wasn’t for Petplan insurance 🤗

Can’t fault Petplan at all. Buddy was ill 2 weeks ago with a foreign body / blockage from one of his toys and spent 24 hours at the vet hospital racking up a whopping £1800 bill. I love how Petplan deal directly with my vet surgery, they informed me when they received the claim and again as soon as it was paid out 2 weeks later. Completely stress free process which meant I could concentrate purely on Buds once he was back home. Definitely recommended by me. Thank you Petplan!

Great company, have paid every claim (3 claims) direct to the vet with no problems. Very friendly staff when l have had to call.
