I have had such a great experience with Intercoast! The entire staff has been amazing. They are dedicated to helping each student to reach their goal. I'm still enrolled, but let me say that I could not have had a better learning experience than this. For people that are afraid of taking that step forward, don't be. You will have an amazing team to help you LITERALLY every step of the way!!! I am extremely happy and thankful to everyone at Intercoast College.

The staff is great. They literally won't let you fail. The director of human services Mayra De Leon is very efficient at helping me get my stuff together. Cindy is also one of the most helpful people on the campus. I appreciate everything they've done for me. Great school. The only thing I have to say is that I wish they had more job fairs for the evening classes.

To whom it may concern , I Juan carlos Mejia am writing you to inform you of Leslie Perez professionalism while I attended my course at InterCoast. Leslie inspired and motivated me in so many ways. To name a few she helped me put together  a resume and pointed me in the right direction in doing research on how to find jobs online and using other resources. This was a critical aspect of my education.Leslie was always available to help and did so accordingly. Her prompt response was appreciated. Leslie is very knowledgeable in her work and goes out her way to help. I want to thank InterCoast and Leslie for a pleasant experience.

I have been a student at Intercoast colleges since 2012. When I started, I was 8 months pregnant and thought I would try the trial period for drug and alcohol counseling certification to see if it was something I wanted to do after I had my baby. After the week was over, I found myself signing up. I had a great instructor out of the Carson campus, by the name of Ms. Lee, and it was her experiences and tough love that made it enjoyable to learn. It didn't take long for me to realize that this field was the field I wanted to be in. Throughout the years, I have found myself facing hardships, both motherhood and financial hardships to be exact. I was able to return back to school after having my second daughter and ended up having the same teacher. I was so thankful to have someone familiar to teach me. Upon the many challenges I faced as a single mother, I decided to return to Intercoast in 2019. Although I was far away from the campus, I was able to continue my classes online. The staff has been amazing and wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and patient, they have worked with me all these years, and never gave up on me. One of the staff members at Intercoast that I would like to personally think is Leslie Perez.. she has been wonderful, an extremely patient. She's even took time out of her busy days to talk to me, and motivate me to not give up and continue pushing forward. She has worked with me every step of the way, despite the fear I had of going from campus to online. she was very clear in all the instructions that I was to follow to get me to where I am today. And because of her patients and her professionalism, I am finally finished. Thank you Leslie, you are my girl, and I appreciate all that you have done for me. If I have to recommend any colleges, I would Intercoast a 10 out of 10. I've had the greatest experience, and thanks to them I am now holding an associate's degree in substance use disorder counseling and certification in addiction disorder counseling.❤️💯

After deciding not to go back to school, because I was burnt out, but wanted to find my purpose, I took a chance and signed up! I enrolled in the A & D Counselor course and had some struggles and with great help completed my courses. As of today I've completed my internship as well. Thank you to the great staff that helped me through the process. A special mention to Dr. Judy Redman and Leslie Perez for your great support in helping me complete and start my dream job and one day my dream career. I am now a Counselor at a Dual Diagnosis facility and enjoying what I'm doing! Again .... Thank You! 🙂

Intercoast was the best experience I have ever had. The whole staff took a personal interest in my success from the very beginning. No matter what the question I may have had it was always answered. They truly became my second family taking a personal interest in every aspect of my journey from beginning to end and making sure I knew that the support is ongoing as a alumni. I absolutely love the school I would highly recommended this School to others. My student advisor Marlene Lopez is really passionate about her work. She is always concerned and kind to her students she's like an angel on Earth she definitely shows christ-like qualities.
