Icon Commerce College, established in 2004, is a general degree commerce college situated in Guwahati, Assam. This college is affiliated with the Gauhati University. Icon Commerce College is a Gauhati University affiliated co- educational degree college offering all three streams. Since its inception in 2004, the college has been imparting degree level education as per Gauhati university syllabus. Twelfth pass out students of AHSEC, CBSE and other recognized Boards are eligible for admission and students can offer major subjects in accountancy, management, and finance.

To be Honest ..
My personal experience...😡🤬
Worst college Please don't take admission
1. Very less students 3 to 4 students in every department😠
2 . No teacher ration fake qualification of teachers doesn't know to teach
3. Please don't ruined your life in this college it will become a hell
4. Only tribals are there and those who get low marks 30 40 percent. Honestly not a good environment to study in this college
5. No proper management rude staff members
6.if you taken the admission please cancel it and go to another college Iif they are not cancelling the admission just go and take another college or institute no one will tell you anything.
7.staff and teacher will tell you fake things of there college. (please don't take admission)
8.i an my 4 friend taken the admission but after I we know about this college from senior and past students then I and my all friends cancelled the admission and take the admission in another college . Now after a month we relized It's a great decision of our life 😄

The teaching system is good yk if you are regular to the college you get the knowledge of what's goin on, depends on the course you took!! The campus is clean too but the semester fees is higher than usual but I think it's okay since it's a private college .

Icon commerce college good for the b.com But not good for M.com department all the teachers are newly appointed no past experience and dependent only internet websites... And some teachers are come class only for giving notes not discuss main important topic and fees are so Highly per semester 18,000 and extra Form fill up fees ... So I thought those students belonging to the middle class family don't take this admission in this college...so I tell my experiences... So, Please First read this and take the admission..

It's a private college.The college might be a bit on the expensive side for some of people.But there's no compromise with great and quality education.The teaching quality is amazing.With some of amazing and experienced teacher.You can always see teachers with students and full classes going on.Even if there's most of students are absent.So i think it actually depends on you if you want to study or attend regular class or not.And it's not the college issue.But i surely assure you even if with the fewer students teachers carry on class on regular basis.You can hope and expect for better results if you attend regular classes.But i would love if infrastructure of college would be a bit more amazing.

To be honest I don't really have idea about commerce but for arts degree this college will be your worst choice ever and especially for economics and education students. Already the fees is really much high based on their education system plus there's no decent facilities,poor infrastructure (no compound or canteen,library), no such tuition or extra classes...but for all the above mentioned things you have to pay such a huge amount as a semester fee..+so many other fees for extra things eg-exam form fee, registration fee, submission fee.
And for economics and education student have to pay higher amount as compare to other department students and above these all the main thing is they have to take their exam at other college(i.e Narangi) which is quite far from Icon college and every seal and signature regarding any of your official documents or for schorlarship, stipend we need to go there and stand for an hour and get it... and sometimes there will be no Principal and sometimes they won't give you sign or seal easily ..and after going all the way in the hot whether to get that single sign and seal you have to go back getting nothing.
And if we ask or tell about these things to college(Icon) they'll say it's not their responsibility .
Also the results are too late under GU (as Icon is affiliated to GU) ..for eg-when other college or university will get their 5th sem result we won't even get our 3rd sem result .
Conclusion - Therefore, this is not my personal feeling towards college but a bitter fact.

They charged lot of unnecessary fees and there monthly fees is also very high and every after one semester we have admission and admission fees is also very high
