My experience with this school was deeply disappointing. The lack of support no tutors, minimal guidance, and instructors who seemed disengaged made it feel impossible to succeed. I was overwhelmed with too many classes, and even minor delays resulted in being unfairly dropped. The environment felt more focused on profit than fostering success, particularly for Black students, as the support and encouragement simply weren't there.

Thankfully, I’ve since found a much better institution where I feel supported, motivated, and set up for success. This contrast has shown me that college can be a positive experience when the school is truly invested in its students’ growth and achievements.

Lucia, the English professor is not doing her job well. Students don't know what they are studying. Students are not being given credit for the work they are doing. Students are not clear on assignments. She is just failing them assignments and not explaining why. Hope they address her. People are paying for this. One lady trying to skate under the radar, not grading assignments for weeks at a time and giving no detail on how to improve the things her students are not aware they are even studying in the first place. Sample size was 6 or 7, and all didn't know what they were studying and wanted more clarity on why they are failing. Not coincidence, that the "professor"

Math program is fantastic. Could use some better instructions during the lesson part, but all in all well done. Very nice seeing progression, and proud the student I know is getting what she is paying for.

in all honesty, don't bother unless you just want the paper. it's the worst uni I've been in even after living in Atlanta. it's about money and that's it. classes are trash with useless instructors who couldn't care less. go online avoid this dumpster of a uni

I’m honestly so sick of this school not caring about students at all once they get their money. I have a long list of experiences, but this time I’m trying to get once simple question answered and no one is able to help. Even more frustrating is a staff member was the one who recommended the completely wrong thing to me and now suddenly no staff member has a clue how to fix it.
Im exhausted from having to fight most of this schools staff to try to care.

I recently visited Columbus State Community College (CSCC), and it was a great experience! The campus has a nice mix of lively spots and quiet areas for studying. The professors are really knowledgeable and care about helping students succeed.

The facilities are impressive too—fast internet, a cozy café, and good heating and cooling systems that make it a comfortable place to learn. I also loved how diverse and vibrant student life is; it really shows how inclusive CSCC is.

Another plus is its location near Ohio State University, which makes transferring easy for those planning to continue their education. The student body is diverse, with lots of younger students, giving the campus a fresh and energetic vibe.

Some areas can be a bit chilly, but that’s a small thing compared to everything else. Being in Columbus, Ohio, also means there are plenty of opportunities on and off-campus.

Overall, CSCC is a fantastic place to study, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and well-rounded college experience!

I love taking classes here. I love this place. Only thing is that the CSCC PD falsely accused me of stalking another student, when really I was just doing my weekly walks around the campus. It’s one of my hobbies, I been doing it for 6 years now. Maybe if they listened to both sides of the story, they would get a better understanding of the situation. Keep trying guys, keep trying.

I have spent thousands of dollars a here and the entire learning experience has been difficult- everything from initial orientation to registration.

There is no one who can assist along the way, the faculty put barriers in their own way as well as frequent personnel changes that leave people unaware of what or where to go. I am paying full price, no loans, no grants and am astonished at how not one person can communicate where to easily find my basic answers.
I keep getting the - that had been updated- they have a new name, I think...- I can't talk to you because you aren't the student -

I just want to know how to find an academic advisor. I physically went in the Westerville location, they were polite and after a few weeks of working with different people from the downtown Columbus location, they couldn't get an answer.

It is no wonder this place is in the state it is - there is zero accountability or ownership.
