Incredible advisors, tutoring programs, and a lot more.
I recently finished my Associate's Degree in Arts at CMC.
I'm glad I chose this school to finish out my current degree.
No complaints!
The schools at CMC offer many different wonderful resources.

Fantastic experience!
Big thanks to Jenn Besser, Andrew Pyrc, Nicole Fazande, Kevin Coty, Donna Pulkrabek, Tutors Bailey McDaniel and Deb Meese, and many other incredible people that helped me succeed!

CMC was amazing! Only chief complaint, the school is 2 hours away!

I thought I would share my own experience. I have been a student (both FT and PT) since Fall of 2014. While it may take some 4 years (or less) to get their Bachelor's, it took me much longer due to 'life' and 'career'.

My first two years were quite positive. I was happy with the overall faculty and professors. The tuition is very affordable, likely the best price in the entire state of Colorado. Though it took a bit getting use to with 'no books' and the company they recommended was not affordable. Word to the wise for all future students...get your own books through Chegg or Amazon or some other rental option. I didn't like the company they used when I started and I still don't like the company they are using now, it isn't cost effective. The Breckenridge/Dillon campus also did not have dorms or apartments. This made housing VERY difficult in an already quite expensive area. In the last two years they finally built some apartments, though I hear there is a waiting list. They are close to the Breckenridge campus.

CMC is quite large, with campuses in Leadville, Steamboat Springs, Edwards, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Carbondale, Rifle, Salida and Buena Vista.

When I first started at CMC I met Jean K and Jenn K, both were VERY helpful and have always been supportive. I admit I was frustrated with the turn around of financial aid staff, plus I also learned that professors (both adjunct and tenure) get to pick their materials and book requirements. When textbooks are more expensive than tuition, you have a BIG ISSUE! I was very pleased that a select few professor's did not require textbooks because of this very reason. Way to be very supportive teachers!!!

My last two years have been a tad rough. It is like running a marathon, that last mile feels like it will kill you but you must keep going. I am seeing the finish line, but I am not rushing to get there. If there is one thing I have learned in a positive way from CMC, it is better to grasp the knowledge and apply it in your life, than get an A and never really use it again. I struggled in my science class (Anatomy & Physiology I and II), it is not my strong subject. I had a very encouraging professor who truly cared and helped me along. Not only did he care that I did well in his class, but I was doing okay in life. My health has been an issue. Being able to understand Arteriosclerosis was a big step for me. My family's health history and even my own. A very big thank you to this great professor!

There are wonderful things about CMC and things I would like to see improved on. Some improvements are: More business classes offered after 5pm! I thought CMC was a non-traditional community college? Parking in Breckenridge...stop using the 1st turn in! It says 'DO NOT ENTER'. Signs matter, so does enforcement. The recycling taken out more often and to include more items (like plastics 1-5). Restrooms checked during the day for supplies and cleanliness. Better lighting in parking lots for both Breckenridge/Dillon. Set hours to reach professor's and staff. Some are GREAT about this, some are in need of work! Various ways to communicate with professors, especially adjunct one's! Email, VM, etc...

Overall, I am happy with CMC, but nothing is perfect and we can all make improvements. It is super affordable which is a huge plus, but there are growing pains too, like classes offered each semester and the times they are offered. I will be happy and relieved when I finally receive my BSBA!

I've been going to school here for three years and I love it. The staff is very friendly and helps you in any way they can; shout out to Stephanie B, Jean K, and Barb J you ladies are awesome! The staff really cares about you and where you want to go in your studies whether you are getting a certificate, degree, or just learning something different. Not to mention it's also very affordable, especially if you live in district. Hands down 5 stars for this school!

The existence of CMC is a great opportunity for community members to get higher education that will lead to a better life. I have been a CMC student since last summer, and my experience was very positive. CMC counts with great professors willing to share their knowledge with the students, but the students vary in regards of their enthusiasm and commitment to learn, and that makes it challenging. I regularly attend CMC in Dillon, and the personal of the office has been always very friendly and helpful. Even though the building in Breckenridge is bigger and looks more like a "college," the Dillon installations has its own charm. I really hope CMC Summit gets soon a Financial Aid advisor full time. Thanks for existing CMC.

I was excited to attend CMC. I have seen all of their new buildings and was excited to attend a nice looking school. Then I went to Dillon and saw that it was in what was once a bank. To my luck I have had great professors and no longer care what the appearance looks like. It would be nice to have a larger router lab though.

I went here to get some more information to get started and apply for school and they were super helpful and informative. They gave me the information I needed and gave me contacts so I can continue in the process while Im away. The place itself had a homey feel and I would love to take classes there. The only issue is that they don’t provide a whole lot of different degrees, I will either have to change my major or drive to Denver in order to finish my degree.

I’m writing this review because I was planning on attending this summer instead of last fall because I went through somethings in my life to where I couldn’t attend school. I just got a notice saying my books are 60 days late and this my first notice. CMC accountant says that you guys sent me multiple notices and emails saying that they were over due. But that’s false I check my emails and mail daily. I work for a Tax firm here in Frisco, CO. I do those things daily. Its really funny to me that y’all don't call your students when it comes to books or help them when you guys say you’re there to help us. I’m honestly not happy with your guys lack of communication with your students. I’m actually thinking about attending a different college with this campus really showing their true colors.

I enjoyed the ceramics class. The other students were inspiring and the open studio hours made it easier to finish projects.
