Excellent, affordable and reliable. This community college is a gem in the western suburbs located in Dupage County. The variety of programs is amazing. The teachers are very well educated. When applying ask for a waiver code and your application can be free. The pre-requisites to start classes at the college are very flexible. They have a wonderful support system called the learning center. They have free tutors in all classes. They offer financial aid and scholarships. Free GED classes. Advising and counseling is free. Registration can be in person or online. Classes are offered in a variety of offerings, online, hybrid, face to face or in person. What more can you ask for? A great college! Check it out.

I’ve attended a few CE classes and was disappointed. Either the class isn’t what I expected or the instructor went way off topic that it was pointless being there. I attended a class tonight and learned very little. I won’t be enrolling in classes here again. Another student mentioned she never received an email about the day of class and others did. She showed up on the wrong day. The directions I received were confusing.

As a parent of a high honors student who received two degrees and a certificate from COD, it's not bad. It's a great stepping stone. The administrative staff, along with counselors, need A LOT OF WORK, I'm very disappointed with the lack of guidance. But it's affordable, most of the academic staff is decent and it's clean.

I had a good time here, but the motion activated lights kept turning out in the bathrooms. I had to use the toilet in the dark so many times.

I would recommend COD to anyone who’s interested in going to college, especially for their respiratory care program. The instructors are passionate about respiratory care, it’s reflected through their teaching. The program is hands on and designed for you to be successful after you graduate.

Such a waste of time, I've seen 3+ counselors at this point and none of them were able to help me register for classes for a transfer program ?. I was told to contact the college I was going to transfer to only for those advisors to tell me cod has all the information needed to help me pick out my courses.
