This is the best roadside store I’ve ever visited—very detail-oriented, with everything sparkling clean. The products are high quality, like those you’d find at Whole Foods or Sprouts. I tried the date shake there, and it was delicious. They offer a wide variety of sauces, jerky, honey with wax, nuts, candy, sweets, and more. I recommend it to anyone traveling to or from Vegas to stop by and enjoy the experience.

A gas station with a fun novelty flair that is both cheesy and nostalgic of those long family road trips as a kid, they sell some gift items that I honestly haven’t seen really anywhere else, kind employees, a great selection of nuts, candies, and chocolates (including sugar free), and an excellent date shake (or date smoothie as a dairy free option).

For truckers it’s a nice spot for a quiet 10 hour rest break; though be aware there aren’t any truck diesel islands so don’t expect to fill up here. It is however 24 hours and make sure to leave the lot looking nicer than when you came in.

Now I would have given this place 5 stars, BUT the only thing that kept me from doing so is that (at least for the men’s restroom) the gaps in the stalls are unbelievably large to the point where I can easily slide my entire hand through it; so everyone coming and going can get a clear view of you doing your business. Another issue is that unless there’s an entirely separate restroom to use; the men’s room is in no way wheelchair accessible as well as more difficult to access for those who are physically impaired. I myself am physically capable, and yet even I still had to do some squeezing around just to enter the restroom.

Other than that; I do plan to return here in the future as a customer. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a date shake calling for my attention.

Gas stop just off the I15 on the way to Vegas. The store is packed with snacks, gifts and hot food is also available. Bathrooms are clean. There is a Zoltar machine straight out of the Tom Hanks movie ‘Big’, super fun! Great range of jerky - flavours and protein variety.

Just right off i-15 north with big advertisement - world’s famous date shakes. I was intrigued and passed by - gem stones galore and yummy date shakes. More on sweeter side, maybe next time will let them know to put more ice. Must travel stop. Clean and nice employees

Definitely a hidden treasure here The Bird House Date shakes which are delicious and their signature chicken Sandwich with fries bomb !!! Hot and fresh n crispy!!! Have to on the way out of Vegas or on way back !! Very friendly service as well! The store has a variety of candies and fudge yummy !

Stumbled across this On my way! Home from vegas. Amazing date shake and bird house fried chicken joint inside is phenomenal, too good to be “gas station” food will definitely stop here again.

Stopped on the way to Vegas. People are nice. Date shake is great, we got ours with ice cream but I am pretty sure their almond milk one would be great too. There is a gas station in the area and plenty of parking. Lots of jerky!
