Honestly our experience with Nancy far exceeded what I ever imagined getting out of this experience. I knew I would learn something but never imagined I would have an entire mind shift and deeper understanding of what my body is capable of and how to mange my experience of pregnancy and labour as best that I can. We had fun, shared emotional moments and felt like I had my eyes opened to a revolution in birthing. Im looking forward to the journey that is ahead of us and reassured that Nancy will continue to be by our side. I feel very lucky.

Nancy is a wonderful teacher who made us feel valued and supported right from the start. Our hypnobirthing course with her and our subsequent journey to birth was made so special as we prepared using the knowledge and materials that we had gained in our hypnobirthing course. We practiced every day and most nights, and went to hospital confident and informed which made a huge difference to our experience. We're so grateful to have learned with her! Importantly, there's LOTS here for partners and I can honestly say it brought us closer together as a couple and strengthened our relationship. HIGHLY recommended

I'm soo glad me and my husband went on this course and met Nancy. I was scared of my birth and what to expect but in the course nancy explained what happens and what my body is capable of doing. The most important thing for me was gaining the confidence to trust my body. My husband was a bit apprehensive at first because he wasn't sure what hypnobirthing entailed but he got soo much from the course and is now an advocate for hypnobirthing and tells everyone how amazing it is. It made us stronger together and ready to meet our baby. Plus, the knowledge I have gained and the exercises I will be using in everyday life, not just labour, so definitely an investment for me. Also, Nancy's help doesn't end when the course ends, she was always on the other end of the phone to take my questions, help relax me and give me information.
And a bonus, nancy makes tasty cookies and there is a super cute doggy called ziggy if you want a ziggy hug xxxxxx

Contrary to the impression the term hypnobirthing conjures up, in fact the course offers evidence / research based information, to empower parents to ask questions and make their own choices in the last few days of pregnancy and during labour. The relaxation techniques give the birthing partner something to 'do' and the practice you do together in preparation for labour is a wonderful way to start making space in your family for the new arrival, and to connect with the baby antenatal. Nancy is fun, cheerful, positive and reliable. She'll tell you if she doesn't know the answer to your question, and she will go away and find it out!

Following a very difficult birth with my daughter I was terrified (alongside the normal excited) when I fell pregnant a second time! My excitement was dampened from day 1 with thoughts of "the birth".
Luckily for me, my husband convinced my very skeptical self to try out hypnobirthing... Nancy arrived and I instantly felt her warmth. Over a relatively short time she not only gained my trust but also made me believe in myself - sounds cheesy doesn't it!?!
I never thought for a second that it could work but I threw myself into it and practised the (simple) exercises and guess what?! I gave birth, through choice, at home! No epidural, no panic, and I got to snuggle up in my own bed after a bath in my own bath with my gorgeous son!
I cannot recommend Nancy enough!!! From sleepless terror and a firm decision I was having a c section (fully anaesthetised!!) to a 2hour labour and home birth!
