The experience been horrible and very overwhelming the technician especially are very rude . I’ve been here twice wasn’t seen due to mistake of their own they discriminate against mothers with kids with special needs . I’m single mom had no other option but to bring my autistic son with me . There no guidelines or rules saying no kids or other people can’t attend appt .I was talk to like trash by their technician in the lobby in front of everyone then I request a supervisor she didn’t help in any type of way . Now today I’m
Here my appt was confirmed with medical transportation they wasn’t told of two appt only second appt .I arrive at 8:58 for appt they stated I can only be seen for second one that at 9:30 not one that was also at 8:45 . I understand I was late but this wasn’t of my doing this was of their scheduler confirming time with transportation provider and so they pick me up basis off the appt time that was given for 9:30 which was second appt not appt time of first appt which was at 8:45. These testing is urgent due to problems I’m having . I had to pay for specialize care for my baby while I attend this appt today as well I live over a hr away . Nothing have been done to accommodate but saying I can’t be seen .There no empathy or compassion for patients here what so ever . They just brush u off is very rude. It’s is now 9:40 their late for my appt time which was at 9:30 now I should charge them for being late .

For my post on Baylor College of Medicine one year ago: We did have that nurse, Brenda, removed from my husband’s care or should I say lack of care during his hospital stay after neck and back surgery. Zero star is the true rating. Also, I emailed the people in charge, but no response. I would hate to call them and Brenda is still there which suggests the hospital doesn’t care how their patients are treated. At least respond and require her to take some bedside manner training or something. Thank God my husband has recovered well.

*Last Update!* I called them out on twitter, and they managed to have my posts removed somehow. I'd only described what happened, in an attempt to fix the issues beyond "I'll ask somebody and get back to you (never)." Incompetent, gaslighting cowards.***

I actually have a great primary doc with BCM, and some good specialists. But the billing and insurance departments are consistently abysmal, and I need to spend between 2-6 hours PER VISIT just to get them to actually use my insurance (in network).

I've had the same insurance for years, but every visit when I check in, they ask for full payment. This sets off a series of calls/waiting up to 70 minutes on hold, just to be told that they'll send a message to some other department and I'll be called back. This almost never happens, so I call back, and repeat. There's about a 50/50 chance I'll need to reschedule any appointment I make, despite trying to address this issue a week or more ahead of time. Their back office is next to worthless, and just scheduling a few appointments a year has turned into a part-time job with no pay. It's a shame, because I Love my doctor, and most of the specialists they have are excellent as well. I can't take much more of this though.

*Edit* I almost forgot about a great office experience I had! So I was ordered to get some blood work. This was a few years ago, pre-Covid. So I'm told to just show up, the blood work is a walk-in service, no appointment. I showed up 30-40 minutes before closing time, and wait at the desk for 10-15 minutes, not a soul was there. After a while I start calling out, Hello! Hello? To no avail. Then a few minutes later, a lady came out from the back and was startled by my presence in the lobby. "HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?!" she said, scrambling. "I walked through the front door, during business hours," I said, kind of irritated by now. "We closed early today!" she sneered, as if I was supposed to somehow know this. Yeah I love this place.

Update of course nobody called back, so I had to reschedule yet another appointment. Just an absolutely terrible organization. I think they're actually more useless than Xfiniti customer service, which is a FEAT.

NOT RESPONSIVE. SCAMMED. Things became night and day after my initial surgery.
At first everyone was nice and helpful. However, after my surgery doctors failed to follow up test results. Called multiple departments in 3 months because no one wanted to do their job and get me the results.
Was told insurance had me covered 100% but ended up getting billed $700 within the FIRST month BEFORE even getting my results!!!
SHAME ON THIS COMPANY FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SICK PEOPLE!!!

I have bcbs insurance. They're trying to make me pay out of pocket $132. They text me and it went to $133. I called my insurance, they have paid in full and all I have pay is $50. In My Chart app it's saying I owe $114. I don't recommend Baylor Psychiatry. They will fraudulently charge you. After this, I'm shopping elsewhere.

I don't know what in the world is going with their billing department and insurance verification people but they are infruriating. I keep having to reschedule appointments because they keep trying to triple charge me for doctor visit. It is frustrating as hell! My insurance company says its supposed to be $60 and has said no deductible applies to any of my doctor visits but these people at Baylor keep trying to over charge. My insurance company has put it in writing, they've said that Baylor needs to contact their provider relations department(which they obviously haven't), and its literally on my insurance card plain as day! I've never had an issue like this over the several years I've been seeing doctors at Baylor but this will definitely be a reason for me to no longer go with them.
