For Anna University undergraduate courses, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). However, Class 12 marks is not enough to apply for Anna University UG courses such as BE/ BTech.

Just adding responsibility to all professors , admin staff and students committees, continuous monitoring and reviews will help to overcome unsafe issues. For any kind of support for cctv etc can be provided by alumni associations. No need to look for government always. What is total strength of professors, staff and students committees? This is sufficient to manage their safety. Why that male student did nothing after leaving the place?
He could have reported to AU administration and/or police. His presence of mind could have helped ,just by influencing police or students quickly to prevent such unforeseen incident. Difficult to digest such issues.

The British architecture is just amazing. Excellent facilities for sports and a great library. The compound is vast and you definitely need a map. The buildings are old but still well maintained. The roads are properly laid and no so there is no problem in transportation. The only thing is auto rickshaws not allowed inside so better bring your own vehicle else its gonna be long walk. Banks are also available inside but The state bank of India is worst and doesn't have internet banking to do Demand draft.

Very famous Institute that produced many thought leaders in Engineering, research scholars, great academicians and controlling body of all Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu governed by Anna University. Great peaceful ambience. Clearly mentioned sign boards makes easier for the students those who entering the university for temporary works like certificate correction or workshops. Buildings have the old British structures and well maintained. Security staffs are far better on the university campus while comparing to non university campus. As a university campus, it consisted in a large area. If you have no idea about where to go first for any corrections or any clarifications clear it with security staffs while entering. It makes the process easier and time saving. Controller of examination building are situated much far from the main entrance building. Ask staffs then start to find out.

Top college in district of Tamil Nadu,it is a government college.The college is very big spreading around 200+ acres,it is really nice to see a green environment.You can see n number of events happening in and around the college,you could develop your skills and place to expose ur talents.Counselling takes place in this college and it is very accessible from he bus stop and train station
