Praises to HCC’s Alief campus for hosting the graduation ceremony for the Mattress Mac School of Selling! This was a remarkable event honoring Houston business owners who completed a rigorous six-week course. My co-founder, who is a career coach and keynote speaker, flew in from Kansas City, Kansas, just to be part of this inspiring celebration—testament to the impact and recognition this center brings.

Special thanks to the Glenda and David Regenbaum Center for Entrepreneurship for their support of entrepreneurs. This center creates invaluable opportunities by facilitating networking, providing access to crucial resources, and offering affordable guidance to help business dreams come to life. Sandra, the program director, is incredible—her energy and commitment make this initiative truly inspiring.

The campus itself is absolutely beautiful. For anyone considering a venue outside of the usual hotel scene, this college provides a secluded, professional setting that is ideal for events with class. As a career coach, I can see the value in hosting seminars and webinars here, where the classroom environment adds a fresh dynamic to learning and engagement.

This is a good campus like all the other campuses. The book store is very small and limited. It gets very cunjusted inside. The library is extra cold. Since I go there about every day, I feel like I'm freezing to death and can't even write. The new building is very amazing. The only professor I only took at this place was a very stupid person, he couldn't really teach. I like their parking, classes and outdoor area. And also love the fact that they have trees inside the campus.

HCC Alief I just want you to know that your Academic Advisor Mr. Jaime Flores is awesome, if I could give him a 100 stars I would. He listens to what his student wants and helps them put out needs in place. I came and saw him before the storm him and was discouraged about finishing school but because of him and the words he spoke to me( that he had no idea that I needed to hear) touched me so much not to mention the posters he had in his office had me in more tears. Mr. Flores you are a Godsend and schools need more Advisors like you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

The school environment is good, and it is recommended that the school's restaurant is open to students on Saturday because many students report that there is no place to eat on Saturday.

advisor Belinda Simples is very great advisor and will solve any issues you have. The other advisor are really horrified and have no professionalism.

Can't get a hold of anyone in the veterans support area at the Alief North West Campus . I emailed and called the phone several times and goes straight to voicemail. Receptionist doesn't comprehend well when answering phone . Very frustrating .

I hope the experience I had last week does not reflect what my experience will be like at this community college.
I came in to take my TSI test and the people in the testing center were incredibly kind and helpful. After I recieved my score I went to meet with an advisor and this is when things took a turn. The couches in this room looked very dingy and old, but I decided to sit for a minute while waiting for my name to be called. I jumped up immediately because there was a roach crawling all over the furniture.
The advisor that spoke to me was extremely rude, an African man I believe last name starts with a K. It was very difficult to understand him firstly and for whatever reason he was very impatient with me and short-tempered. I did my best to remain respectful but he was a minute away from me walking out of his office.

This school has the engineering department that I'm interested in and is 10 minutes away from my home but so far I am not impressed.

If Google have 0 star, i will give them 0 star. I heard many ppl talking about their terrible student services but i did not believe. Now I knew it. All the times, i came their to ask for help, I totally felt stressful. They did not want to help you and they make you look stupid when you want have questions. You literally can see their annoying attitude when they call out your name. I was very excited to get educated and my degree but i was so disappointed ☹️
