We were solicited by a company called Benchmark-company. Unsure of how they obtained our information which is unlisted we decided to hear what offerings they have to better help our son who is graduating.
We met with the Benchmark-company representative and were not completely sold on their services which seemed to me as a scam with the pushiness to sign up. However I decided to pay her for her for the brief time she visited us and give her a some monery via a credit card as I may follow up with them if we were to change our minds. We also gave specific instructions not to charge the credit card used to pay them 100.00. (Three witnesses available) I signed a paper so I assumed was a receipt as she said thank you and sign here please, not allowing me to read it completely. I honestly wanted her to hurry up and leave as she continued to try to bully her scam-like product on me. A week or so later I noticed there was another charge for 1395.00 dollars on this same card in which I gave specific instructions not to charge. It appears that the document I signed in which I thought was a receipt due to the fact I was not permitted to read it, was some sort of contract however I have three witnesses who agreed that I clearly stated we would contact them if we decided to move forward. Perhaps with the technology today my signature was transformed onto some other document. It’s unclear however what was clear is I DID NOT agree to pursue their services or for any other payment arrangements. That alone seems to validate that this is in fact a scam. They profit only on your willingness to help your child. This is sickening.

My family and I met with a counselor and enrolled into the family program for our three kids. So far, they have exceeded our expectations and the staff is always fast and polite. I have referred a few other parents over and and extremely impressed and look forward to working with them in the years to come!

Benchmark-company is dismissive upon seeing their candidates skin color and selectively choose whom they want to provide services too. We were dismissed before being given the information or the choice to get the service. Once I called corporate then you attempt to call and give me details by phone Laurie B. to attempt to schedule another time AFTER you've already dismissed us the 1st time! That is not how you do business.

If it wasn't for this company, I highly doubt I would have been able to afford a B.A. at UTSA. I am already pursuing an M.A. in econometrics at the same school and with their support my financial situation is much easier, allowing me to focus on study and productive work.

Place is a fraud. They have since filed for bankruptcy. No ever answered a phone call in 2 years. They cheat people out of the money and offer nothing.
